LOCAL CHAPTERS OF THE SCB

Local Chapters provide a mechanism for SCB members to become involved in conservation activity at the regional level. These organizations are diverse. Some Chapters focus on a single city or campus; others cover broader geographic regions. Some Chapters draw membership primarily from students and faculty at academic institutions; others include practitioners and conservation scientists from a wider spectrum.

Efforts and activities of the Local Chapters will continue to complement and facilitate operations of the Regional Sections of SCB. Any SCB member can become active in a Chapter, a Section, or both.
